Fault Lines of a Dreaming Earth:

Artist Statement - I have a fascination with the invisible forces that shape both landscapes and inner lives. In this piece, I explore the parallels between geological tension and emotional undercurrents—the way pressure builds, releases, and reshapes the terrain, whether beneath our feet or within our own histories.

The layered washes of watercolor mimic the slow movement of water through soil, the drift of sediment, and the quiet transformations that happen out of sight. Ink blooms and ruptures mark moments of fracture—points where the earth, like the self, can no longer contain what lies below. These dark forms interrupt the softness of the palette, reminding us that creation and disruption often coexist.

I wanted the composition to feel like a cross-section of a living world: roots reaching, strata shifting, memories fluttering like leaves across a horizon. Nothing is static. Everything is in a state of becoming. The landscape breathes, erodes, heals, and dreams.
